| I have added several tables with generic measurements in order to give additional help about ordering the right size. These measurements are actual body measurements and not everyone is built alike. As for knitters, crocheters or seamstresses, there are several guidelines for the construction:
1)Ease:
For a regular fit I will add approx. 2 inches around the chest area to the actual bodymeasurement.
For a fitted style (tight) the chest size will equal the garment size.
For a loose fit I will add 4 to 5 inches for comfort.
2)Sleeves:
The best way to determine the length of sleeves is the FULL SLEEVE LENGTH:
Measure from middle of back (spine) to shoulder ...continue on to arm wrist...with elbow bent!
3)Length of sweaters, coats, dresses:
Length will vary according to style.
If you need any assistance, don't hesitate to send me an email!
